Our Accredited Universities

Membership to The Society of Sports Therapists is open to anyone over the age of 18 years who is currently undertaking a Sports Therapy programme of study which is accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists.

Students studying at one of our accredited Universities will be enrolled as Student Members of the Society on completion of a Student Membership Form. Check out our map of accredited universities on our Accredited Programmes Page

Travelling Scholarships

Access to the British Journal of Sports Medicine

Student Members are eligible to access the online British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM) Schemes. They are also eligible to attend AGMs and associated seminars but may not vote on issues raised during General Meetings.

This can be found in your Student Members Area.

Job Opportunities

Student Members have access to our new and improved jobs board where current professional vacancies and volunteering opportunities are posted regularly. These include opportunities in professional football and rugby through the Football Association and Rugby Football Union, with the NHS through Connect Health and Ministry Of Defence (access to many of the advertised roles now require member with The SST).

Upgrade your Student Membership

After graduation, Student Members can apply to become a Member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Full details on becoming a Member can be found on our graduate membership page.
