Membership of The SST is now open to you and we look forward to you upgrading your student membership and welcoming you as a new Member.

*Please note, if you choose Member Uninsured, evidence of alternative Medical Malpractice and Public Liability insurance must be supplied by you at the time of application.

Payment Options

Payment to The SST can be made via direct bank transfer, card or instalments for Insured Member Status.
PLEASE NOTE: For uninsured Member status, the fee must be paid in full.

Upgrade Now

  • Step 1 – Email admin@thesst.org with the university you graduated from and the year.
  • Step 2 – Criteria for membership and insurance, if applicable, will be emailed to you and this should be completed at your earliest convenience.
  • Step 3 – Upon successful completion of the criteria, we will forward payment details (failure to continue with instalment payments will result in your membership and insurance being cancelled immediately).

Not Ready to Upgrade Just Yet?

Don’t worry – you are still classified as a Student Member of The SST until 31st December 2026, unless you upgrade before that date.
You can still enjoy the benefits of student membership until the end of the year. However, PLEASE NOTE that your student, Medical Malpractice and Public Liability Insurance cover expired upon finishing your course.
Once employed, you will need to upgrade your membership and obtain insurance either with The SST or elsewhere.
*If you choose not to upgrade your membership by 31st December, you will no longer be classified as a Student Member of The Society of Sports Therapists and all rights will fall away.
