The Society of Sports Therapists is a member of The Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) which is the umbrella body for the arthritis and musculoskeletal community in the UK. The Society is one of a large group of organisations seeking to transform the quality of life of people with musculoskeletal conditions.
Members of The Society of Sports Therapists currently work in a diversity of sporting, clinical and healthcare settings. Additionally, their sport and exercise expertise along with their therapeutic skills and knowledge gives them the skillset and ability to work both independently and autonomously within a musculoskeletal, exercise and rehabilitation environment. Consequently, The Society of Sports Therapists and its Members enhance and exemplify the aims and philosophies of ARMA and, as such, are proud to be associated with it.
