Together, everyone achieves more…

Do you have a passion for promoting Sports Therapy? Are you active on social media? Can you create videos, blogs or webinars? If yes, then the Society’s Communications Group would be very keen to hear from you.

The Communications Group

The group plays a key role in developing relevant communication strategies for the Society and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. This year saw the introduction of the SST 2021 Webinar Series and the SST Member Spotlight Series, which have both proven to be a great success so far. However, we need your help to continue delivering this content, creating networking opportunities and promoting our profession.

What’s Involved?

Virtual meetings take place regularly throughout the year to discuss ideas, make plans and drive them forward. It is hoped that the group will eventually return to meeting face-to-face twice per year. The group also communicates via WhatsApp and uses Google Drive to aid in the management of projects. There is a time commitment to the group which varies dependent on current projects and timeframes for completion/delivery. It is important for group members to be confident, willing to appear/speak in video content produced by/for the group and be comfortable with this content being shared online.

Please note that this a voluntary role, important for the ongoing promotion and development of our professional body.

How To Apply

Does this sound like a role for you? Do you want to be considered for the Communications Group? If so, then please send us a short video of yourself in MP4 format (no longer than 2 minutes), detailing how you fit the bill.
